Overview

A leading Mid-Size M&E Contractor are looking to grow their commercial team with a Junior Mechanical Estimator. An excellent name within the industry and work primarily within the residential sector delivering high-value residential schemes within London and South East.

The role is ideal for an individual with some experience in Mechanical Estimating, having worked up their way from the tools or undertaken the educational route. They will have the desire to develop in this role to work their way up under the tutelage of a Senior Estimator.

Roles and Responsibilities

·       Assist Senior Estimator in mechanical tender production

·       Client-facing

·       Attend and both internal and external meetings

·       Offer technical support and advice

·       Ensure competitive tenders

·       Learn under the guidance of a senior estimator

·       Produce take-offs and obtain best quotes from suppliers

Person Specification

·       Mechanical Building Services Background

·       2-3 years experience within Mechanical Estimating

·       Looking to develop within this role

·       Commercially minded

·       Excellent communication

·       Ambitious open for development
